The forest had whispered things to him about himself that he did not know. Things of which he was entirely unaware until he heard the advice of that enormous solitude. And the whisper proved irresistibly fascinating.
Joseph Conrad
Heart of Darkness, 1899
"Like a whisper, Vittorio will discover things about you of which you were previously unaware. In your own forest, in the form of images and only a hand's breadth away. Irresistibly fascinating."

Once, a warm evening in Panama, I dreamt of meeting someone talented enough to seize, in a single shot, all the art and humanity that flows from a person. I was awake by the unmistakable sound of a shutter. Vittorio is a professional photographer specialised in close-up photography. A tireless traveller, a realistic and profound author whose interest in photographing people came to life while filming the streets of London and Buenos Aires. There began his love affair with the human face. They say that Vittorio's photography is ingenious, intelligent, and that it is filled with humanity. The person versus the character. The pages that follow are his diary.

From his social, un-invasive and much more human

Our focal distance never exceeds the space of two closed hands. This makes our view somewhat different, with a resulting closeness. It needs a visual reference, and we know this.

Well, close your eyes and imagine for a moment that you are Eddy Merckx, the great Eddy Merckx. He has achieved all there is to achieve in this life, has become a global leader in his profession, the respect that he has earned transcends generations of enthusiasts and everybody knows who he is. The club of his county, the county where he was born and raised, where he began in the children's category, wanted to share his classic "against the clock" race with the rest of the world and they considered naming it after him. The Vittorio Journal was there, and bore witness to this event , publishing it as a news article on the front page of the journal. Younger enthusiasts posted links to our main page on Facebook and Twitter.
What at first seemed to be an illusion turned out to be a fortunate turn of events for all involved. New ties were built and the generational gap was bridged successfully. The true legacy was already in the hands of a younger energy. The Vittorio Journal is fully aware that you are not Eddy Merckx. Perhaps you are a young Indian businessman on the verge of launching a new airline. Or a musical genius getting the old band back together. Although more likely you are devoted to politics as a successful international economic adviser and you're looking for a way to communicate news with a future.

You don't have the luxury of having your multimedia minutes misinterpreted. They cannot be anything less than what you demand of yourself.
